Badness, Chinatown and Target. Life goes on...

So the past week has flown by. Despite my badness with all the playing last weekend, I managed to survive the midterm paper/exam horrors and have since then been goofing off quite admirably, if I might say so myself. Of course, if Cat were here, I'd feel like less of a secret alcoholic, but hey... apparently it runs in the household.

I've also been spending some more time with the few friends I've made at school so that's been nice. Today, I played Chinatown tour guide for one of them -- "McDonald's on the left, Burger King on the right," lunch, fake purses, I Love NY t-shirts, Little Italy, grocery shopping, the whole deal.

And yesterday I made my second (or third, depending if we count that "other" time, Cat ;p) trip to Target. What a place for making me covet things I don't need. I finally caved in and have now bought a loaf pan.

Tonight, dinner with an old friend and a wine and cheese party. Yum, wine and cheese -- could life get better?

Final note: I've been touched by the number of people "checking in" to see how I'm doing without Cat. Haha. I'm really okay but I appreciate the thought -- thanks, guys! :)
