Is it the season or my neighborhood?

I am starting to feel like I'm in one of those nightmares or bad ads, though I'm not sure exactly what the product would be in this case. But anyways, the point is that there are pregnant women everywhere. Seriously. Maybe it's the fact that I live and work in the equivalent of Hong Kong suburbia, but everywhere I go, there are pregnant women. In the 15 minutes that it takes me to walk to the subway, take the subway, and then walk to my school everyday, I see countless pregnant ladies -- not to mention the two pregnant teachers at my school. It's kinda creepy, actually.

And whatever you say about the beauty of the miracle of life, blah, blah -- there's a lot they don't tell you about motherhood. [Cat, I still owe you that list...]

and i am sure HK is no more scary than most other places in the world. you just happened to live in new york the last couple of years, where everyone is unmarried and childless.
