Boo Verizon customer service

I hate -- hate -- when customer service reps can't get their story straight. In the past month, I've talked to about 5 different Verizon reps about my calling plan and whether or not it includes calls to Canada. Fine, I accept (albeit grudgingly) that they have every right to discontinue services that they find unprofitable, but get your story straight, dammit. Don't have your reps tell me it's free, then bill me, and then tell me 'oh yes, it's been confusing, but now for sure, we all know it's not free'. Grrr.

Ok, I respect your unhappiness, but I have to say, I have had absolutely EXCELLENT service from Verizon in the last couple of months. For work, I've had to pay a lot of attention to customer service at various companies lately, and though Verizon isn't one of the target co's, I have been most happy with their reps. Recently, after calling about something completely different, the rep proactively noticed that I had been sending a lot of text messages (which was costing me a lot of extra money), and suggested a plan that would fit my needs better and save my money. Amazing!
